Received 1-year 3.130 EUR travel funding by the franco-bavarian center for academic cooperation (BFHZ/CCUFB). Together with researchers from the Laboratoire de l'Informatique du Parallelisme at the Ecole Normale Superieure de Lyon work was conducted on ``High Performance Bioinformatics on Grids of Supercomputers'' in 2003.
