The supported programming interfaces will be MPI with OpenMP as well as MPI with COMPASS, the proprietary shared-memory programming interface of Hitachi. While the primary target system is the Hitachi SR8000-F1 installed at Leibniz-Rechenzentrum in Munich, the tools will be applicable to other clustered SMP-systems. as well.
